We are currently hiring a dedicated Material Handler to work in our fast-paced Shipping Department during the day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for prompt scanning and loading of trailers from pallets for customer orders and/or removing them from a conveyor system to stack other places.
Stack cases on pallet or slipsheet and ensure cases are in good condition. 30-40%
Operate handheld scanner. Scan cases to pallet / slip sheet and to trailer 30-40%
Utilize equipment to load orders onto trailers. Maintain flow of goods onto trailer 20-30%
Attach labels and shipping documents 10-20%
Maintain accurate count of cases loaded. Calculate quantities and cases
based on order requirements. May assist in keeping row sheet to verify
product loaded on trailer 5-10%
Remove empty pallets from locations as they accumulate 5-10%
