The Shipping Material Hander is responsible for prompt scanning and loading of trailers from pallets for customer orders and/or interplant shipments.
Stack cases on pallet or slipsheet and ensure cases are in good condition. |
Operate handheld scanner. Scan cases to pallet / slip sheet and to trailer. |
Utilize equipment to load orders onto trailers. Maintain flow of goods onto trailer. |
Attach labels and shipping documents. |
Maintain accurate count of cases loaded. Calculate quantities and cases based on order requirements. May assist in keeping row sheet to verify product loaded on trailer. |
Remove empty pallets from locations as they accumulate. |
Basic arithmetic skills; ability to add and subtract
Ability to operate handheld scanner
0-3 months of related work experience.
